Death wondered the lonely streets of Dublin like a baby bird looking for his mother. The sky was dark and the thick smoky clouds covered the moon; yet the dogs still howled. The sound was eerie in the darkness. The houses looked like monsters but the drawn curtains gave them a sleepy expression. All the houses showed no light, except the small three-story mini-mansion.
Death walked up to the door and tried the doornknob. It was locked. Typical. She rounded the back, startling a rather large and angry looking mungrel with sharp teeth, but a small glare took him out.
There was a window there and no light shone through. She tried to lift that and was successful in that. The window opened with a bearly audible creak.
Inside was dark and quiet. The room was painted white and the floor was thick, plush carpet that was bright in the darkness. The room was decorated with very mortal things; a large white bed, a expensive looking clock hung on the wall, a bed side table... But what caught her eye was not the extravagant silver jewlery that lay in a neat pile, but was a very tasteful photo frame.
The picture it held looked like any other popular tenn's would. A whole group of people -around the age of sixteen - and pulling ridiculous faces. There was a girl who stood out. She had blonde hair and dark grey eyes; almost black. Her arms were folded over her tiny chest and there was a pout on her red lips. Her chin was raised and her neck looked very sliceable.
There were footsteps near the door and the silver handle of the door turned.
Death bearly had enough time to dive under the bed, managing to not hit her head in the process. She flicked the white cover up slightly so she could see.
The girl who was standing out in the photograph stomped into the room and growled. She was muttering something about a girl named Stephanie Edgley in her high school being a stupid smart-arse.
Death smiled, a 'stupid smart-arse'... Just a bit contridicting.
The girl picked up something and glass shattered against the far wall. The blonde didn't even notice the hand snaking out from under her bed like the evil monster she was. She didn't realize until it was too late.
Oooh!!
