Fan fic II

Death looked at her apartment building and cocked her head to the side. The grey walls looked different when they were burnt; too black. Who has burnt my place? She thought and rummaged around through the charred remains of her life.
She actually liked this place, it had no rats, cockroaches, mice or even annoying dogs in the neighborhood. Death pouted as she found where her four foot book pile should be. She trailed her fingers through the grey ash and sighed, imagining all those books being burnt; all those stories that shall remain untold.
Death stood up suddenly and turned to face the man sneaking up on her. She glared at him and infused magic with it and the man gasped and fell to the floor. She raised a hand and twisted her fingers to push the gravity down on him. "What do you want?" Death asked in a monotone.
The man looked up through his black hair and his green eyes met her blue ones. "I was told to get you... Bring you back to my master... He wants you dead..." The man gasped and Death stopped glarring at his muscled form.
"You want Death dead? Oh," she shook her head with a slight smirk. "That is really smart. Killing someone who can kill you by looking at them?" She looked at him with disgust. "Who is your master?"
The man grit his teeth. "I shall neve say..." He looked startled for a second, then the expression was quickly replaced with smugness. "But you shall see, soon..."
Death heard a click and felt a sharp stinging in her leather covered shoulder blade milliseconds later. Her eyes widened and she looked at the man in black who was starting to get to his feet. Death struggled to keep her eyes open. The ground was rising up to meet her and the thick smell of smoke filled her lungs. As her face it the charred black rubble, she heard a laugh.
She rolled onto her back and stared to the two faces above her. Both men with black hair... They looked so similar with their green eyes and their annoying smirk.
Death felt herself sinking into a deep, dark and welcoming oblivion. She sighed as the night sky was whisked away from her sight and replaced with a comforting black sheet.
